To all of our new and returning members, welcome to your new website! In spending the past several months revisioning our structure, enhancing our ability to communicate with each other was always first and foremost on my mind.

To achieve this goal, I have incorporated a discussion forum into the site. You can now create threaded discussions to share your thoughts and ideas about advancing competency-based education in nursing.
There is a dedicated Questions & Answers section where you can seek information from members of our community to help integrate competency-based learning activities into your teaching practices. If you happen to be further along on the journey to competency-based education, I encourage you to respond to these queries by sharing your expertise and creativity.
Please know that this site will continue to evolve over the next several months. You are welcome to let me know your ideas about how you would best experience being a member of the CBNE Network. I will soon be soliciting your feedback about our organizational structure, but you can always send me a message with your suggestions about how we can best collaborate with one another.

One of the greatest benefits of membership in our community is the opportunity it affords for engaging in multi-site research and large-scale national studies. While I am aware of several members' ongoing projects, I feel that it is important to catalog all of the scholarly activities that are born of CBNE Network member efforts. If you have published an article, facilitated a presentation, completed a research activity with other members of our community, or recruited participants via our membership lists, we want to recognize your work! A survey to collect and compile this information will be distributed shortly.

I'll close this post by reiterating how much I appreciate and value each of you. I thank you for your ongoing interest and commitment to achieving our collective goals. YOU are the change that is very much needed in nursing education! I look forward to our continued collaborations.
All the best,
